• Procurement of about 80 heavy machinery and specialist equipment for preventive and rehabilitation works (e.g. excavators, bulldozers and cranes) to be installed in Northern and Southern Emergency Response Centres (ERCs)
• Enhancement of the ERCs’ asset management and capacity building on disaster risk management to undertake preventive and rehabilitation works more efficiently
• Installation of hydrological posts for KyrgyzHydromet at about 20 sites in the subproject’s target areas and information system for enhanced data collection, processing, and flood warning will be pilot tested on Kok-Art river basin for improved efficiency and accuracy.
